Every week we like to look back at everything we have done to bring you more information about the digital divide, digital inclusion and technology trends from around the web. Today on The Weekly Plug we look at how human-I-T inspired a member of our community to give back, recognition for OurCycle LA by the city of Los Angeles and the three elements that are crucial to bridging the digital divide.

human-I-T Inspires People To Give Back

At a recent OurCycle LA event with LA City Council member Paul Krekorian we not only distributed to more community members, but we also inspired someone to give back. After meeting with our team, Mehrin Rahman decided she wanted to give back as well. “Knowing that my donation, however small, might have a positive impact on someone’s access to education and information, or go to a community that needs it, is reason enough to donate”, she said.
