Today's era is fondly known as "the digital age." With new and exciting technologies constantly coming out, it is quite a time to be alive for those on the right side of the digital divide. The Digital Divide is the gap between those with access to technology and the Internet, and those without.
Unfortunately, over 80 million Americans lack access to the internet and a computer, meaning they are being left behind in the digital age. The main reason they go offline? The high cost of tech. As a result, they are locked out from education, job opportunities, money management, healthcare, and so much more.
The digital age isn't slowing down any time soon. That is why our team is doing its part to bridge the gap between offline and online communities. We run programs that provide technology, digital literacy, internet, and vocational training to as many low-income communities as possible. As we like to say: we all have the right to tech!

human-I-T receives technology from both corporate and private donors. Refurbishing technology is a complex process which we take very seriously. Skilled technicians at our facilities test and evaluate all donated technology for its working components, thereby keeping toxic e-waste out of our landfills.
We give new life to your old technology, promoting reuse and creating opportunities for our qualified low income recipients.
Smartphones, tablets, laptops and other technology is fixed by a human-I-T employee and donated to our technology recipients, ensuring we help create more digital citizens every day.
