Donate Technology. Change Lives.

The Simple, Secure Way to Empower People with Digital Opportunities

By donating your unwanted technology to Human-I-T, you can give the more than 80 million Americans who struggle to complete basic tasks like applying for jobs or staying in touch with friends and families the tools they need to thrive in the digital age – all while helping us protect our planet from e-waste!

How to Help Us Shrink the Digital Divide in Four Easy Steps

We’re proud of how frictionless we’ve made the process for individuals to donate technology.
It goes like this:

  1. Fill out the information form below. We need some basic information in order to best manage your donation. Things like your name, e-mail, phone number, and the general specs of the device you’re donating – you know, the basics.
  2. Send Us Your Device. Less than ten minutes later, you’ll receive an email from Human-I-T detailing where to send your donation and how to package it for maximum protection and repurposability.
  3. Complete your receipt and claim a tax deduction. Don’t leave money on the table! Since every donation you make to Human-I-T is tax deductible, we’ll prompt you to fill out a receipt with the tax-deductible value of your donation.
  4. You’re done! Once your items arrive at Human-I-T, we’ll wipe any hard drives of their sensitive data before repurposing your device. Any devices that can’t be refurbished and repurposed will be responsibly recycled.

After all is said and done, your device will empower an individual to access opportunities and unlock their full potential. By donating your device to us, you’ll join a long list of do-gooders who took action to make the world a more equitable place.

Submit Information About Your Donation and Hear Back in One Business Day

There’s no reason to stop at just donating just your device. Host a technology drive and encourage members of your community to donate their devices to people in need, too.

Through collective action, we can shrink the digital divide and give everyone equal access to opportunities.
