For a chance to receive a free laptop, you must submit documentation proving you or someone in your household currently enrolled in the Affordable Connectivity Program on or after December 10, 2022.
What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federally-funded program that provides low-income individuals and families with between $30 and $75 per month to lower the cost of internet. However, since the average monthly cost of Human-I-T’s internet plans are $30 or less, households who sign up for ACP benefits through Human-I-T end up receiving free internet .
How do I qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program?
To qualify for the ACP, you must provide documentation proving you currently receive benefits from one (1) of the following: CalFresh; Medi-Cal; WIC (Women, Infants & Children); Pell Grant; Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); Supplemental Security Income (SSI); Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8); Veterans Pension; and Survivors Benefits.
