What Are Lift Zones?

Lift Zones are free, WiFi-connected locations in community centers across Detroit. These locations provide access to reliable computers, internet, and digital skills training.

The Lift Zones program is part of Comcast’s Project UP – a comprehensive initiative to advance digital equity and build a future of unlimited possibilities.

Working with our network of Detroit nonprofit partners and community-based organizations, Lift Zones provide a robust WiFi solution in supportive neighborhood locations like nonprofits, community centers, gyms, parks, and recreation facilities.
