What types of items do you accept?
We like to say we accept everything with a plug except appliances. Please see our Accepted Items list for more info.
Where does Human-I-T offer its ITAD services?
We pick up in all 50 states. Full data center decommissioning is available in Los Angeles and elsewhere by arrangement. Please see here for our list of services.
How do I donate my personal technology?
You are welcome to ship in or drop off at our Los Angeles Warehouse. Please fill in this form as a personal donor to receive an email with instructions.
How does Human-I-T secure my data?
We sanitize data-bearing devices at our NAID AAA-certified facility in Bell, California, using NIST 800-88 software (supports HIPAA compliance). Drives that cannot be wiped are physically destroyed. Certain media types — including USB drives, optical discs, and tapes — are physically destroyed by default. Items routed to approved R2v3-certified downstream partners are sanitized through their certified data security processes.
