We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Aervivo, a company bringing high-speed internet to affordable housing communities across Massachusetts. Together, we’re making sure that connectivity doesn’t stop at the WiFi router. Families will have the devices and support they need to actually use that connection.
Here’s what’s happening: Aervivo is installing fiber-grade internet infrastructure in thousands of low-income housing units throughout the state. But having internet access means nothing if you don’t have a device to get online. That’s where Human-I-T comes in.
We’re providing devices to one out of every four households that Aervivo connects. High-quality, name brand refurbished laptops and tablets that have been diverted from landfills and given new life. Each device comes with the peace of mind that all sensitive data has been securely wiped using our NAID AAA-certified process. Plus a one-year warranty and 24/7 bilingual tech support.
But we’re not stopping at devices. Our digital navigators will be available during select installation rounds, offering personalized support to help residents get online confidently. Whether someone needs help setting up their first email account or accessing telehealth services, our team will be there to guide them.
This partnership represents everything Human-I-T stands for. A parent can now help their kids with homework online. A job seeker can finally submit applications from home instead of traveling to the library. A senior can video chat with their grandchildren across the country.
Thousands of Massachusetts families are getting connected. Devices will find their way to new homes, and tons of e-waste will be kept out of landfills.
We’re also matching 10% of our device and digital navigation contributions to expand this impact even further.
Massachusetts is taking a bold step toward digital equity, and we’re proud to be part of the solution. When companies like Aervivo and organizations like Human-I-T work together, we can bridge the digital divide faster and more effectively than either of us could alone.
