California-based non-profit Human-I-T is helping ensure every LA County resident can access the internet at home


LACOE is partnering with Human-I-T to ensure any Franklin T9 hotspots that are not deployed and other digital devices are used to support student households and members of the community that lack internet access.

All hotspots will include information about how households can get help accessing free internet through the Affordable Connectivity Program.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is the easiest way for households to get online and receive a laptop


Human-I-T offers full assistance to households who need help signing up for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

Through the ACP, Human-I-T provides hotspots with free monthly internet service to households in LA County.

Households can also bundle their hotspot purchase with a laptop. Our cheapest ACP laptop and hotspot bundle can be purchased for as low as $10. Assistance signing up for the ACP is available in English and Spanish. To learn more about the ACP, click here.
